No heat, or low heat in wand or hose.

With engine OFF,

Check for loose pulleys and loose or missing belts on

24 volt alternator.

Start engine, with wand switch OFF check voltage at  battery terminal of 24 volt alternator.

With engine running, turn wand switch ON, check voltage at  battery terminal of 24 volt alternator.

Check heating elements for an "open" condition. Check for faulty switch. Check for broken wires or loose connections from alternator to switch, and switch to heating elements.

Check for a dead battery, then check for an open resister or open wires from battery to alternator, or a shorted wire between the alternator and control panel switch and alternator and battery

Repair or replace alternator

Check for "short" between switch and heating elements. Alternately disconnect the wires to the hose and wand heating elements, when the voltage goes to 24 - 28 volts you have located the "shorted" circuit.

Check element resistance as follows:

             15' hose element:          .4 to 1.0 W.

             20' hose element:          .5 to 1.2 W.

             Wand element:             .9 to 1.6 W.

Repair or replace as necessary.
